This is the fandom/writing journal of eyesofachild. Only writing samples and fandom-related discussion will be posted here. If you're interested in the mundane details and random insanity of my day-to-day life, this isn't the place for you. However, you'll be more than welcome at my personal journal. Just comment at the first entry to be added.

Much of my babbling discussion will center around the Harry Potter fandom. Other fandoms or topics may creep in from time to time, but in the end, it all comes back to Harry and company. My writing, however, may run the gamut. I write whatever strikes me, whether it be fiction, nonfiction, or some odd hybrid of both. The occasional poem may even pop up in here. Until recently, most of my leisure writing has been Harry Potter-based, but more and more, fics based on Jane Austen works, various animes, and other book/TV/movie-based fandoms have found their way into the mix. I do have several other projects going, such as my (STILL unfinished) nonfiction book and my NaNoWriMo submission, so I may occasionally post about one of those. Really, there is very little I won't read or (try to) write.

Feel free to comment with concrit, as it's always welcomed, or chime in with discussion. That's why I created this journal, so that I could be a shameless fangirl without irritating the people on my personal friends list. Share links, recs, whatever. If you'd like a beta reader, just ask. I'm more than willing, as long as my schedule allows.

I may add to or revise this later. Right now, though, I think I'd rather be writing something a little more interesting. Make yourself at home while I'm gone.
